Cobra Wrestling Scholarships are awarded to individuals, who have completed high school, wrestled for Cobra at least 3 complete years and are now pursuing a job, trade or college degree or just have some debt to retire. Individuals can apply for a scholarship on an annual basis, but can only receive a scholarship once. The Cobra Scholarship Board will pick scholarship winners and has sole discretion in its decisions. There can be up to two winners per year with a maximum payout of $700. The maximum payout can be changed at the discretion of the Cobra Scholarship Board. Individuals will need to download the application form, fill it out and turn it into a Cobra Scholarship Board member to be eligible for a scholarship. The scholarship winner(s) will be chosen by end of August each year and posted on the website. The exception to this is the first year when we will announce the first winner(s) at the November 2019 Cobra Early Bird Tournament.
